JASC awards scholarships that reflect our commitment to community-focused care, service, and the preservation of Japanese American history and heritage. We recognize that meaningful community engagement takes many shapes—cultural exploration, caregiving, advocacy, artistic endeavors, volunteering, and lifelong learning all qualify as valuable contributions.
This application is intended to allow applicants to present an honest, thoughtful account of their experiences, values, and future plans rather than conform to a narrow checklist of activities. For more than 40 years the California Restaurant Foundation (CRF) has invested in the next generation of restaurant, foodservice and hospitality professionals through college scholarships.
