Who Can Apply:

Applicants for the Ralph M. Knight Chemistry and Engineering Scholarship must be full-time seniors enrolled in a Catholic high school within the Phoenix Diocese, practicing Catholics, and either U.S. citizens or permanent residents. The scholarship is not awarded based on financial need or high school GPA.

Scholarship Details:

The scholarship recipient will be granted a one-time $5,000 award to be used for first-year tuition at a four-year college or university in the United States.
The recipient must be pursuing a major in chemistry or engineering.
The scholarship funds will be sent directly to the recipient's college or university.

Assessment Criteria:

Two online recommendations are required.
Applicants must submit an essay on a topic provided in the application.

Key Dates:

Toolkit becomes available on July 1
Application period begins on December 1
Deadline for applications is January 31
One scholarship is awarded annually.
