NAAAP Philadelphia is an all-volunteer, nonprofit (501(c)(3)) Pan-Asian professional organization dedicated to advancing careers and leadership among Asian American professionals across diverse industries. As an affiliate of a national network, NAAAP is the largest and fastest-growing Asian American professional organization operating in the United States and Canada.
Scholarship overview
Established in 2010, NAAAP Philadelphia’s scholarship was created to acknowledge and support Asian/Asian American students in the Philadelphia region who exhibit strong leadership potential and a commitment to positive community impact. For 2026, the program will award multiple recipients from both the high school and college applicant pools. Each selected student will receive a $1,000 scholarship to help cover tuition, textbooks, and/or living expenses. The program is open to graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate college students of Asian or Asian American heritage.
Eligibility
- For high school seniors:
- Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0
- Must be currently enrolled in a high school located in the Greater Philadelphia area
- Eligible even if the student intends to attend college outside the Greater Philadelphia region
- Must be of Asian or Asian American descent
- For college students:
- Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0
- Must be an undergraduate currently enrolled at an accredited college or university in the Greater Philadelphia area
- Must not be graduating in 2026
- Must be of Asian or Asian American descent
